7-8 March 2016Bangkok, ThailandThe Academic Research Training for Research Grants Programme 2016 covered a wide range of modules in pursuit of strengthening skills and knowledge of RGP 2016 grantees on human rights and peace research. The modules included rights-based methodologies, research analytical frameworks (Feminist, Critical Legal Theories and Action Research), programme management, and finance management. Researchers from Southeast Asian countries – Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam, underwent an intensive programme.Outcomes:
- 24 researchers from 19 selected projects from Southeast Asia were able to increase their research capacities on human rights and/or peace.
