Filipino youth are currently at the forefront of fighting historical revisionism in the Philippines, particularly with regard to the subject of martial law under the Marcos regime. Filipino students interviewed in this study affirmed their trust in the credibility of their educational institutions, showing that universities constitute important sites to counter revisionist efforts to overlook the historical evidence of human rights abuses during the Marcos regime.
